My life, the world around me, it is all an inspiration. I see good and bad, and it all inspires me in a way to touch people's lives and spread hope. I am extremely passionate about Indigenous issues, and all facets of Indigenous struggles. I have worked in Treaty Land Entitlement and Specific Lands claims, which allowed me to gain invaluable knowledge of the legal systems for First Nation land claims in Canada. However, this was not the beginning of my introduction to Indigenous politics. I grew up in a home that was surrounded and occupied with people heavily involved in Indigenous politics. What inspires me? Humanity. That we can be resilient in the face of uncountable woes, that we can show kindness in the face of cruelty, that we can smile even in the worst of calamities, and that we(some of us at least) possess the intelligence to create solutions to our problems even in the smallest of ways never ceases to amaze me. As a human beings I believe, there are virtually no bounds as to what we can do with the power God gave us!
